It is very handy if you want to know where people lived and if anything is still standing there, and would be useful for a literary obsessive who is planning a trip. Authors, playwrights, and poets both famous and obscure, from every era up to modern times, are listed here. The descriptions are sometimes terse and presume a high level of familiarity with classic literature, but this is a good resource nevertheless.
